Senegal. Cap Skirring .  For men, women,  couples..

I have just returned from southern Senegal and selected two amazing accommodations for our trip. The retreat is limited to just 8 people, and the program is designed for both women and men. That's why this time I want to emphasize: couples and solo travelers of any gender are welcome. Full details will be available soon. If you are thinking about joining, be sure to let me know as soon as possible. We are flying in mid-November 2026, and the trip will last for 11 days. The price will be under CZK 30,000, including half-board and the program, plus the cost of the flight. Some shared activities will be paid for in advance, others on-site depending on interest.

The program will be highly varied. We are flying to Cap Skirring, a resort in southern Senegal that is prepared for tourists—but in an "African mode," so to speak. You won't find rows of sunbeds or high-rise hotels here, but I guarantee nobody will bother you, and everyone will greet you with a smile. I am thrilled about this area and would love to introduce it to you with respect for its authenticity and natural charm. A local guide will be available if needed, so you won't have to worry about a thing.I'm still fine-tuning the details, but the outline is clear. If you'd like to stay longer, that's no problem. At the same time, if there is enough interest, I can adjust everything to manage two parallel groups.

accomodation on the beach

One accommodation option is in Kibala, featuring authentic African beachside huts. It is paradise on earth. The beach is pristine—you can walk as far as the eye can see, with no crowds, just us. The capacity of this place is only 8 people, so we will be a truly intimate group. In Kibalaou, full board and water will be provided. There is morning yoga every day, along with a daily program that you can join, but there is absolutely no pressure.

accomodation  near the city Cap Skirring

Our second accommodation option offers absolute luxury by African standards. The owner is a friendly guy from Marseille, and the entire property functions as a wellness sanctuary. This means you can indulge in a massage or relax in the sauna :-) And the accommodation itself is stunning! We will stay in beautiful bungalows with a terrace and a fully equipped kitchen, so you can cook your own meals. You'll feel completely safe here, as the whole resort is gated and secure. The beach is about a 10-minute walk away, and it is simply gorgeous. Plus, you'll find restaurants and cafes nearby. We will be getting a bit closer to a resort vibe, but still very much on an African scale. Definitely don't expect massive crowds or European-style services here. We will just be a little closer to civilization, with a charming town just a short distance away

Programe

Every morning begins with yoga, and occasionally body forming. In the evenings, you can enjoy jogging on the beach or a workout session. Our itinerary also includes:
An excursion to a rice paddy, a boat or kayak trip, a quad bike ride along the beach, a walk through the town of Cap Skirring, a reggae party, a trip to a National Park, and an African dance lesson. Every single day, we will soak up the ocean, empty beaches, and the authenticity of the locals. Last but not least, we will meet new people and perhaps even discover a bit more about ourselves.

Useful Information

I am currently fine-tuning, putting together, and preparing all the details. However, if you are thinking about joining us, let me know soon. It truly matters to me that this journey becomes an unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime experience for every single participant

Currency

Bring Euros to Senegal, which you can easily exchange for the local currency, CFA (West African CFA franc, internationally code: XOF), right at the Dakar airport. 100 CFA is approximately 0.15 EUR / 4 CZK. A bottle of water costs around 400–500 CFA, a filled baguette or a crêpe on the street ranges from 300 to 3,000 CFA, a meal in an inexpensive restaurant is about 2,000–5,000 CFA, and a coffee costs 1,700–2,000 CFA.VaccinationsThere are no mandatory vaccinations required for entry. Doctors will most likely recommend Typhoid, Hepatitis, Yellow Fever, and malaria precautions. However, this is entirely up to you.

LanguageThe main language spoken is French. English is spoken only occasionally.

InsuranceTravel insurance (and flight cancellation insurance, if needed) is arranged by each participant individually, but we are happy to help you with it if you'd like.

FlightsWe will take care of your flights. If you plan to travel separately from the group (arriving earlier or leaving later), we can help you arrange your tickets as well as airport transfers.

Wi-FiThere is internet access at our accommodation, though it can sometimes be slower. Power outages can also happen—this is not unusual in Africa. Alternatively, you can get an e-SIM to combine connection options. I personally use Airalo. Here is the link if you want to use it:➡ AIRALO – use the code KAROLI1792 to get a 3 Euro discount!

Amenities & Eco-friendly LivingYes, we will have flush toilets, showers, and electricity. It would be wonderful if we could keep eco-living in mind; due to the lack of a central sewage system, please try to avoid bringing unnecessary plastics and overly chemical cosmetics.
